In bringing up a baby do father's play equal role as mother's do!

Well i sincerely feel that though they love their kids so much as we do ,we take full responsibility in bringing them up and little things like changing the babies dress or diaper changin ,unless said we cant expect them to do it.

i completly agree with that i mean i know my husband loves our kids and would do anything for them but for the most part i am the one tending to their everyday needs.

My husband doesn't object to doing things, but I definitely have most of the responsibility. It just seems like he has a lot more freedom than I do.

I agree with you both. My husband is their father, but all responsibilities are mine... from teaching them their ABC's, their manners, all the educative things, diapers, food, baths, I do it all.. my husband's only role is disciplining and playing! :-)

My Husband is very involved. From the day they were born he had no choice. Both my girls were almost 11 lbs and since I had forced C-sections I was not allowed to lift anything over 10 lbs. I am also a school teacher and he works out of the house so he is responsible for them during the day, everything feeding, changing, carpooling, etc. I take over in the evenings and weekends. I do not always agree with the choices he makes during the day but he does a good job and we try to discuss our disagreements when the girls are not around.

Oh you couldnt be more right!! My husbands culture(spanish) women do it all. from the kids, house and cooking, and thats why he's the one working and im in the air condition all day...lol. He didnt help me after my first birth, in the night earliy morning nada... same with 2nd child birth.. but I cant complain because I knew this before I married him. On his days off he does do SOME to help me, and when I was under the weather he took a day off of work to help...wasnt that nice..lol. If I do ask for some help, he will, and if Im running behind on cooking dinner because the kids are being needy..hes found out you either help or your not getting food until the kids are asleep at 9:00pm.

I know he loves and adores the kids and he loves playing with them but I handle all matters with them...I wouldnt have it any other way!!!
